Social Media Marketing Packages in Pakistan: What to Expect

What social media marketing packages in Pakistan include: posts, design, community replies and ads, how pricing works, and questions to ask first.

Social media marketing packages in Pakistan: what to expect from each plan

Quick answer: Social media marketing packages in Pakistan are monthly plans that cover planning, post design, captions, publishing, replies to comments and messages, ad management and a monthly report. The price mainly depends on how many platforms you need, how many posts and reels per month you want, and whether paid ads and community management are included. At Aspire Digital, plans run from PKR 25,000 to PKR 75,000 a month. Ad spend is always separate: it goes straight to Meta or TikTok, on top of the management fee.

Ask five agencies for a social media quote and you can get five answers that look impossible to compare. One says "15 posts", another says "full management", a third quotes a single number that may or may not include ads. When we plan social media marketing in Karachi for clients, the first conversation is nearly always about what the fee actually buys. This guide explains what social media marketing packages in Pakistan usually include, how pricing works, what is fair to expect for each budget level, and the questions to ask before you sign anything.

If you are still deciding whether social media is the right channel for you, start with our short guide: What is Social Media Marketing (SMM)?

What a social media marketing package includes

Every agency names its plans differently, but the work inside them falls into the same six parts. When you compare quotes, check which of these are included and how much of each.

Part of the packageWhat it coversWhat to check in the quote
Strategy and planningAudience research, competitor review, content pillars and a monthly content calendarDo you get a written calendar to approve every month?
Content creationPost designs, carousels, reels, stories and captions in English, Urdu or bothHow many posts and how many reels per month, and who supplies photos and video
PublishingScheduling and posting on each platform at the right timesWhich platforms exactly: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn
Community managementReplying to comments and messages, and passing enquiries to your sales teamResponse hours, and whether DMs are included or only comments
Paid ads managementSetting up, testing and optimising Meta or TikTok ad campaignsIs ads management included, and is ad spend separate?
ReportingReach, engagement, follower growth, messages and leads, plus next stepsMonthly or bi-weekly, and does it show leads, not just likes?

Organic posting and paid ads do different jobs. Posts keep your page active and build trust; ads put your offer in front of new people who do not follow you yet. Our guide on social media marketing for steady growth explains how the two work together, and why most growing businesses end up using both.

Social media marketing packages in Pakistan by level

Most social media marketing packages in Pakistan fall into three levels. Here is what each one looks like at Aspire Digital, so you have a real reference point when you compare quotes. All three are monthly, with no setup fee and no lock-in contract.

Starter: for a consistent presence

Starter suits a small business that has a Facebook page and Instagram account but posts rarely, or only when someone in the office finds time. Twelve posts a month is about three a week, which is enough to look active and keep your offers visible. It does not include ads or message handling, so you answer enquiries yourself.

Growth: for engagement and leads

Growth is the plan most clients choose. It adds a third platform, short videos, community management and Meta ads management. This is the level where social media starts bringing enquiries instead of just keeping the page alive, because the ads reach new people and the replies turn their questions into leads.

Pro: full-funnel social for brands

Pro is for brands that sell to a wide audience and want social media to carry a big share of their marketing: four platforms, a reel almost every few days, remarketing to people who already visited the website or engaged with the page, influencer outreach and a dedicated strategist.

What decides the SMM package price

The SMM package price is mostly a measure of hours: how much planning, design, video editing, replying and campaign work your account needs each month. These are the factors that move it most.

  • Number of platforms. Each platform needs its own sizes, formats and tone. A LinkedIn post for a B2B company is not the same as an Instagram reel for a clothing brand.
  • Posts per month and the mix. A static post is quicker to make than a carousel, and a carousel is quicker than an edited reel. Two packages with "20 posts" can be very different if one includes reels and the other does not.
  • Video and shoots. Reels made from your own footage or stock clips cost less than a planned shoot with a camera team, models or a location.
  • Community management. Replying to comments and DMs every day takes real time, especially for restaurants, clinics and e-commerce stores that get many messages.
  • Paid ads management. Building audiences, testing creatives and adjusting budgets every week is separate work from posting.
  • Languages. Captions in both English and Urdu, or Roman Urdu for some audiences, add writing and checking time.
  • Industry and approvals. Healthcare, finance and real estate content usually needs more careful checking and longer approval rounds.

This is also why a very low social media management cost should make you ask what has been left out. A fixed price far below the market usually means templates with your logo swapped in, no replies to messages, or no one actually watching the ads.

How many posts per month do you need?

There is no magic number, but most businesses choose between 12 and 30 posts per month across their platforms. A useful way to decide is to start from what you can keep up with for six months, not what looks impressive in month one.

  • 12 posts per month (about three a week) is enough for a local service business, a clinic or a B2B company whose customers check the page before they call.
  • 20 posts plus a few reels suits businesses that sell directly through social media, such as food, beauty, fashion and education, where people expect new content often.
  • 30 or more posts plus regular reels makes sense for brands with many products, frequent offers or a large following to keep engaged.

Quality matters more than volume. Twelve posts that answer real customer questions, show real work and carry a clear offer will do more than thirty generic "Happy Monday" graphics. Ask to see the content calendar before anything goes live, so you can judge the ideas, not just the number.

Ad spend vs management fee: two separate costs

This is the part of social media pricing that confuses most business owners. When you run ads, you pay two different things:

  • Management fee: what you pay the agency for strategy, content, campaign setup, optimisation and reporting. This is the package price.
  • Ad spend: what you pay Meta or TikTok to show your ads. It is charged to your own ad account, usually on your card, and the agency should never mark it up without telling you.

Keeping them separate is good for you. The ad account stays in your name, you can see every rupee Meta charges, and you can raise or lower the budget without renegotiating the whole package. Be careful with quotes that say "ads included" and give one total. Ask how much of that amount is real ad spend and how much is fee.

Ad spend does not buy a fixed number of results. Meta runs an auction for each ad slot, and its Business Help Center explains in About ad auctions that the winner is decided by the bid, how likely the person is to take the action you want, and the quality of the ad. That means a better ad can win against a bigger budget, which is exactly what good management is meant to deliver. Meta also notes in its guide About budgets that a campaign can spend more than its daily budget on days with better opportunities, while keeping to the weekly limit, so do not panic if one day looks higher than expected.

How to work out your total monthly social media management cost

To set a realistic budget, add up three parts:

Total monthly cost = management fee + ad spend + one-off extras

Here is an example for a business on a Growth plan. The ad spend figure is only an example; the right amount depends on your city, audience and goal.

ItemExample amountPaid to
Growth plan management feePKR 45,000Agency
Meta ad spendPKR 60,000 (example)Meta, from your own ad account
One-off product shootQuoted separately, only if neededAgency or photographer
Monthly totalPKR 105,000 + any extras

Then check whether the number makes sense for your business. If an average customer is worth PKR 20,000 in profit, the campaign needs to bring about five customers a month just to cover PKR 105,000. If that looks out of reach, start with a smaller ad budget, test which offer brings messages, and scale up from there. Also check with your bank about charges on international card payments, since Meta bills in your ad account currency through your card.

Warning signs in cheap social media deals

  • Guaranteed followers. Promises like "5,000 followers in a month" usually mean bought or fake accounts. They do not buy from you, and they lower the reach of your real posts.
  • No content calendar. If you cannot see and approve posts before they go live, you have no control over what goes out under your brand name.
  • The agency owns the ad account or page. Your page and ad account should be in your Business Manager, with the agency added as a partner.
  • Reports with only likes and reach. A useful report shows messages, leads, calls or sales, not just vanity numbers.
  • Long lock-in contracts. A good agency keeps clients by results, not by a 12-month contract you cannot leave.

Questions to ask before you sign

  1. How many posts per month, and how many of them are reels or videos?
  2. Which platforms are included, and who handles comments and DMs?
  3. Is ad spend included in the fee, or paid separately to Meta or TikTok?
  4. Will the page and ad account stay in my name?
  5. Do I approve the content calendar before anything is posted?
  6. Who supplies photos and videos, and are shoots charged extra?
  7. What will the monthly report show, and how do you measure leads?
  8. Is there a minimum contract, and how do I upgrade or cancel?

An agency that answers all eight clearly, in writing, is usually one you can work with. If you want help choosing the right level, our team offers a free social media audit and can tell you which plan fits your business and budget.

Frequently asked questions

How much do social media marketing packages in Pakistan cost?

It depends on the number of platforms, posts and reels, and whether community management and ads are included. At Aspire Digital, plans start at PKR 25,000 a month for two platforms and 12 posts, and go up to PKR 75,000 a month for four platforms with ads, remarketing and influencer outreach. Ad spend is paid separately.

Is ad spend included in the SMM package price?

Usually not, and it is better that way. The package price covers the agency's work. Ad spend is paid directly to Meta or TikTok from your own ad account, so you can see exactly what was spent.

How many posts per month should a small business publish?

For most small businesses, 12 posts per month (about three a week) is a good start. Businesses that sell directly through social media, such as food, beauty and fashion, often need 20 or more, plus regular reels.

Do I approve posts before they go live?

You should. At Aspire Digital we share a monthly content calendar for your approval, and nothing is published without your sign-off.

How soon will I see results from a social media package?

Paid campaigns can bring messages and leads within days of going live. Organic growth in followers and engagement builds more slowly, usually over the first two to three months.

Can I change my package later?

Yes. Many businesses start on a smaller plan, see which platforms and content bring enquiries, and then upgrade. Our plans have no lock-in contract, so you can move up or down as your needs change.
